4.1.7.9. Full and Partial Wind Loading

Except where the wind loads are derived from the combined C_g C_p values determined in accordance with Article 4.1.7.6., buildings and structural members shall be capable of withstanding the effects of the following loads:

(a)

the full wind loads acting along each of the 2 principal horizontal axes considered separately,

(b)

75% of the wind loads described in Clause (a) but offset from the central geometric axis of the building by 15% of its width normal to the direction of the force to produce the worst load effect,

(c)

75% of the wind loads described in Clause (a) but with both axes considered simultaneously, and

(d)

56% of the wind loads described in Clause (a) but with both axes considered simultaneously and offset from the central geometric axis of the building by 15% of its width normal to the direction of the force. (See Note A-4.1.7.9.(1))
