Subsection 11.5.1. allows compliance alternatives to be used, in lieu of certain requirements in other Parts of Division B.
Alternatives to requirements in Part 3, 4, 6 or 8 may be used subject to the chief official’s satisfaction, while alternatives to Parts 9 and 12 requirements are not subject to this condition.
