Screwed cast-iron water fittings shall conform to ASME B16.4, “Gray Iron Threaded Fittings: Classes 125 and 250.”

Screwed cast-iron water fittings used in a water system shall be cement-mortar lined or galvanized.
(3)
Screwed cast iron water fittings shall not be used in a drainage system.
